Italy: Rome Historical Infiorata 2018 by Matteo Nardone
On the occasion of the Feast of Saints Peter and Paul, patrons of Rome, returns the traditional event organized by the Pro Loco of Rome along Via della Conciliazione and in Piazza Pio XII, now in its seventh edition, this year hosts 14 locations related to the tradition of floral decorations who have created as many floral paintings with the most diverse techniques. The floral decorations are an ancient Roman tradition, expression of the baroque festival, born just in Rome for the invention of Gian Lorenzo Bernini who built the first in the year 1625.
