100s at Michigan Capitol to demand clean water by Michael Nigro
A National Call for Moral Revival, lead hundreds of poor people, clergy and advocates in protest at the Michigan State Capitol and blocked the entrances to the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality, to highlight the state’s ongoing water crisis. This was part of a nationwide series of actions that have been hitting consistently three-dozen Capitol cities for the past four weeks. This week’s theme: the right to healthcare and a healthy environment for all.
