USA: MLK's Poor People's Campaign Resurrects by Michael Nigro
Reverends William Barber II and Liz Theoharis, co-chairs of The Poor People's Campaign, kicked off six weeks of non-violent direct action in Washington DC. The group has planned 40-days of actions in over 30 states that will confront poverty, racism, ecological devastation, the war economy and the United States' distorted moral narrative.
