Rome: 'Palestine of coexistence' by Leo Claudio De Petris
Inaugurated in Rome at the Casa del Cinema the forographic exhibition: 'Palestine of cohabitation 1880/1938'.
Nabil Salameh, a journalist and songwriter, the son of Palestinian refugee parents, presented the exhibition and, together with Dalal Suleiman, actress and dancer of Neapolitan mother and Palestinian father, was the protagonist of an artistic reading of literary and poetic texts.
The Palestine of cohabitation is a photographic historical journey, which tells of a rich and hospitable land, cultured and middle-class, emancipated and open to life and modernity, through the shots of Karima Abbud, the Palestinian photographer who lived in Nazareth between 1896 and 1955 and by Felix Bonfils, French photographer.
