India: Migratory birds float in Dal Lake by Muneeb Ul Islam
A flock of coots float on the waters of Dal Lake in Srinagar, Indian administered Kashmir, India. As winter sets in, hundreds of thousands of migratory birds including shovellers, common teals, graylag geese, gadwalls, pintail, mallards and coots come to Kashmir from Russia, China, Central Asia and parts of Europe to stay in wetlands and other water bodies.
