UN Security Council imposes new sanctions on DPRK by Albin Lohr-Jones
The United Nations Security Council held a meeting concerning new sanctions on the Democratic People's Republic of Korea at UN Headquarters. At the meeting the fifteen members of the Council unanimously adopted Resolution 2397 which imposes, among other measures, further restrictions on the importation of petroleum to North Korea.
