Soon after Friday prayers scores of youth assembled near Jamia Masjid Sopore some 55 kilometers from Srinagar the summer capital of Indian-controlled Kashmir and started shouting pro-freedom and pro_Azadi slogans within a short time the large gathering of angry youth started pelting stones on deployed forces who in turn retaliated by lobbing tear gas shells to disperse the agitated youth.Meanwhile, there was less movement of people and transport after Friday prayers in the town due to the called by separatists against the killing of an innocent baby and critically injuring her brother in a shootout at Kupwara.
