Conditions of land separated by drowning due to abrasion, with the ruins of buildings which are still visible in Pantai Sederhana village. Pantai Sederhana village is the one of seven fisher villages in the northen coastal of Java island which located in Muara Gembong sub-district, West Java, about 70 Km from capital Jakarta, that suffered worst abrasions since the last few years. According to the data released on 2015, by Department of Animal Husbandry, Fisheries and Maritime Affairs of Bekasi District, abrasion has eroded nearly 72 km of coastline in the district of Bekasi, and damaged seven villages in the vicinity, as well as partially submerge the land, the and is expected to continue to increase if no serious treatment from the government.
